Collaboration Trauma Reduction / Pistol Fighting Course with
Surprise Break and 1441 Solutions
This is not a course for beginners! Must be able to safely shoot, present and manipulate a pistol with two hands.
Instructors – Corporal / Training Officer Kyle Yount and Paramedic/Constable Jason Slider. That is right, you get two quality trainers for the price of one!
Training Day 1 will cover classroom lecture on how to apply immediate life-saving bleeding control to an injured person during a shooting situation. Immediate, appropriate bleeding control saves lives. Learn how to apply tourniquets, pressure dressings, chest seals and manual bleeding control techniques. We will also show you our medical set ups and recommendations. On the range we will cover one handed pistol marksmanship, presentation, and reloading.
Training Day 2 will be conducted on the range. We will continue teaching one handed pistol stoppage reduction skills. You will learn to how to work through individual and partner scenarios to stay in the fight until the threat is over and render medical aid immediately after. You and your “team” will be the first responder(s) to your armed conflict. Train and prepare for it with this course.
