AMERICAN FRONTIERSMAN SERIES: PROTECTIVE SHOTGUN I

Protective Shotgun I will introduce the student to the versatile use of the shotgun in your Protective System. The shotgun is a devastating weapon for protective use, if you have the knowledge, skill, and mindset to employ it within the constraints of its effectiveness. Topics covered: Protective Mindset, shotgun and accessory selection, ammunition considerations, safety concerns, strength and weakness of the shotgun, loading and ammunition change out, patterning with a variety of loads, ready positions for employment of your shotgun, while utilizing the environment to maximize a shotgun’s effectiveness. Shotgun slug usage and how its employment fits into your protective system, with zeroing and application of precise fire will broaden the students understanding of the effective capabilities of the shotgun. This coursework will increase in its levels of complexity to challenge the student, building increased confidence and proficiency, while coupling it with proper Protective Mindset and applied tactics.
